AUGUST 2023 - 31 CATS RESCUED FROM DOHA, QATAR

OUR WORK

Sip & Purr is the only cat cafe in America that routinely accepts international at-risk cats into our adoption program.

There's no shortage of cats in the U.S. needing help — Sip & Purr works with a local shelter where we get the majority of our cats from.

Through the work of our Scholarship Adoption Program, we're proud to work with rescues, shelters, and animal advocates from across the globe. Together we're building bridges and making an impact.

Sip & Purr has rescued and helped rehome cats from over ten countries including Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Syria, Qatar, and Turkey.

WHAT WE DO

Besides supporting our local partner in Wisconsin, Sip & Purr works exclusively with international rescuers to help save cats who without our assistance would be euthanized for space or left to perish on the street.

The countries that we rescue from have little to no government, community, or private support. Rescue work falls entirely to a small group of volunteers.

Blind, paralyzed, physically, emotionally, and socially abused cats, amputees, FIV/FeLV positive cats, cats needing additional medical care, and abandoned pets have all found homes through our Scholarship Adoption Program.

WHERE WE GO

Crossing geographical and political boundaries, Sip & Purr has conducted numerous rescue missions to Lebanon — in 2020 after the Beirut explosion, in 2021, and in 2023.

Some of our most notable rescue work has taken place in Qatar - successfully rescuing over 300 at-risk cats over the last five years.
